I have some old home movies on DVD and have ripped them, but would like to have a entry called Home Movies on the XMBC main menu. I dont want to lump them under the Movies menu.
Is this possible? If so, how to I do it.

This is an issue that is currently being worked on (as a mod/tool) and may be available soon. As of right now there are a few hacks that can be done to rename some existing Home Menu items, but if I were you, I would wait until there is a more complete solution.
