Okay so aftter some tweaking my setup is soon perfect - time for a acronis image
I have downloaded the bird scene bbc killa sample and it seem's
to be playing very smooth in full HD glory - wich i bellive my other normal movies in 1080 also does.
But can you see in the logfile if you have dropped frames ?
Mylogfile for a session playing the killa sample here:

See my sig for my hardware details.
press o during playback, will give you debug showing dropped frames
oh yeaj the info thingy, didn't realise it had dropped frame counter
I can see that i have an average of 25-35 frames dropped on the killa sample.
Seems that all the dropped frames comes right when i start the clip. I can
se some stutter right in the begining. But after 2-3 seconds there are not one
single dropped frame.
I guess this is pretty good or what have other people with the killa sample and ION systems ?

I think that's normal for the killa sample:
Quote:Killa sample actually played fine - the first ~1s of it were screwy, but that's pretty normal because of the lack of keyframes at the start of that file. I stopped the video a little early, cos I dropped the camera whilst going in for a closeup on a power meter I had on the plug socket... 32W whilst decoding killa.
