Can someone please help me. my xbmc freezes while I am viewing in the home screen.

my info is in my sig with the latest svn etc..

also my cpu usage is at 50-60% and sometimes jumps to 100% when trying to go into movies or tv shows. I have enabled vsync should this be turned off?

any help on the freezing issue as I have to do a ctrl alt delete to get it to function again and then it freezes again?? This happens with both hitchers and andyblac mod which are the two mods that I use.

This sounds similar to the problem i have xbmc crashes when i try to shutdown and this only happens with Aeon_Auriga(includeing all versions of it) the only way to then close it is by doing ctrl alt delete if i use any other skin it's fine and i am using a 3 day old build of XBMC by kricker i will have to post a debug log also though i can't see anything obvious in it or yours for that matter

Are you guys using the "weather plugin" plus "lastest added" I read somewhere that those two at startup is causing problems...

Mine was doing the same thing. Freezing at startup, I deleted the weather plugin and everything was fine...haven't checked in the past week to see if newer builds have fixed it.

havent tried that.. will try to delete the weather plugin as I do have that installed.
