I was wondering if there is a good alternative for the harmony remotes.
It has to be easy to use like the harmony (control everything with 1 remote)

I don't mind if they are difficult to program as long as I have more control than I do with the harmonies.

What bothers me most of all is the slow response time of the logitech remotes.

I currently use the 895s (rf)

Same problem here with my pos harmony 550. Looking for a better remote w/o the lag issues.

there must be something?

I use an ancient Phillips Pronto Pronto pro and reckon it's great. If you've not visited already however, I'd suggest taking a look at http://www.remotecentral.com for indepth reviews/downloads/forums and the likes.
