Full Version: [LINUX] No sound with Auzentech X-Plosion

Hello fellow XBMC users,

I'm a total beginner with Linux, but using the followig guide I'll got it all working:

The only problem is... there is no sound from the speakers Sad
Using the Live CD there is.

I'm using the optical audio output.

You have more mixer controls going to the right. Check your SPDIF settings, there should be a few items labelled as SPDIF or IE something or DIGITAL. Also make sure you have your audio output set to digital in XBMC's setup.

The IEC 958 switches are your SPDIF settings. One of them maybe a loopback (educated guess the ones labelled with the IEC 958 L are a loopback switch and you should uncheck those).

Play around with those IEC switches and you should find a working combo.
