If you do ps3_pair.py -list while bluetoothd is running, does it show the device?
flxfxp Wrote:If you do ps3_pair.py -list while bluetoothd is running, does it show the device?

Have done installation once again from scratch. It say no devices found while do not let me pair it one more time (Failed. Device already exist)

Code:
(T: XBMCLive)xbmc@XBMCLive:~$ bluetoothd
(T: XBMCLive)xbmc@XBMCLive:~$ sudo python ps3_pair.py -list

P.S. Bluetoothd need to be started manually after using XBMCScript? Nevertheless killing it via "sudo killall bluetoothd" and starting it via "sudo bluetothd" do not change the picture.

You should use --list, not -list
flxfxp Wrote:You should use --list, not -list

Dennis, unfortunately result is the same, thru --list or thru XBMScript list BD devices option. No devices found Sad I've lost where to look for errors then...

Question - is original bluez package need to be installed prior using XBMScript? I've tried this also but with mistakes like this. Also maybe XBMCLive Ubuntu package simply cannot be configured thru XBMScript way?
Are you using XBMCLive? In that case I can't guarantee or know if it works. You're on your own on that one. Be sure that EVERYTHING of the original bluez package is gone before installing bluez-patched.
Hmm....so how is this different from http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=55282 - it does the same, right? Which one to use?
I got everything working except for being able to suspend and since I can't get this to work, also to start again via the remote.

I have the Windows MCE Remote + IR receiver 1.0A and it works fine for navigating. I think the problem may be Linux related as suspend/hibernate doesn't work either when setting the Shutdown button in XBMC to either of these and directly pressing the Shutdown button in XBMC. All that happens is that the screen goes black for a few seconds and then XBMC restarts itself again.
The only thing that works is Shutdown when setting Shutdown Function to Shutdown in Settings in XBMC. This turns the AsRock off, but I can't start it via the remote when doing that.

How can I enable suspend functionality?

EDIT: Just tried XBMC Live where it works fine. What can the difference be?
Tried redoing it and removing all partitions and now it works! Now I just need to find a more quiet system than this damn high pitched Asrock :-) Hoping the new Asus EEE EB1012 will be quiet and that this script will work on it as well.
Could you add MiniMeedia to the skins?
http://xboxmediacenter.svn.sourceforge.n...iniMeedia/

Where can I find the folder to put in plugins and themes on this ubuntu install? I installed the Gnome Desktop Manager (from which I'm typing right now Smile ) but I can seem to find the right folder.
/usr/share/xbmc or ~/.xbmc/

I'm currently very busy with work but when I have the time I'll work on additions such as new skins and scripts.
