I running on windows Xp and xbmc 9,04 and I want to try both Mediastream Redux and transparency! skin. But they doesn't work for the stable version why?

Do I have to live with bugs and other things to get to experience these skins or is there a version that is stable and work properly that works with those skins?

Those two skins were created after the last stable release and offer features not in that release.
