To make XBMC interface less "confusing", is there a way of preventing the play button playing a whole folder full of videos. This means that if the play button is pressed accidentally on a folder whilst browsing videos it doesn't play all the videos in the folder. Ideally this would be folder specific (as there a few folders for which I may want to allow it), but global would be fine.

Not without disabling the play button altogether, or altering the source.

The only context at the moment is the window (or dialog) level.

A more comprehensive concept of "context" for the keymapping would be extremely welcome - even if that comes in the form of a design document rather than code (indeed, at this point a design doc would be preferred!)
