The video seems laggy at times, seems to go slowly, then it speeds up, then the audio is out of sync and just generally unwatchable!
Running on an AppleTV 2.4 with Launcher 3.1 and XBMC svn r23185 (it also occurred running a fresh install of 9.04.1). It happens with all skins I've tried (Mediastream, Mediastream Redux and Horizonz).
Here's the XBMC log

Here's the video info from Mediainfo on the file

If I'm missing anything that you need, please let me know
Cheers,
Jason.

ssh in and "top" to see cpu usage.
[email protected], cabac 4 ref frames, 25.000 fps. On the edge. I bet CPU is maxed.

hrrm, I can't seem to find top on the appletv. it's not in /bin or /sbin - perhaps it hasn't been installed?
edit: found it in /usr/bin but when I run it, I get no output.
second edit: silly me, sudo top
yeah, the cpu is running anywhere between 70 to 95% when I play the video. Guess I'm just going to have to bribe you to give me a version of XBMC that works with a broadcom card so I can watch it
so I guess I'll have to reencode it to a lower quality? this is my first foray into mkv files as I've always used my xbox360 to stream hd-wmv to the tv. any suggestions on what I can use to reencode to a lower quality?
