Dear all,

This is the first time in like 6 years of using xbmc that a movie makes it crash. I'm trying to play a Ghost in the shell copy (by thora). When i start it there is no playback and the only way to solve this is killing the process. Anyone else with that experience?

ps: using r23799, rapier skin. And if required i can upload a log to pastebin, this is just a first off question :-)

Well just tried it on my desktop computer and I get the same result. Is paste my log to pastebin here: http://pastebin.com/m2ef69928. Other movies work just fine its just Ghost in the shell and a Full Metal alchemist I recently got. It errors out on: 'LoadLibrary('MSVCR90.dll') failed' but i just cannot yet understand why only on these two movies. If anyone can tell me, you are more than welcome. I'm gonna google a bit on the dll and remux the movie with just one subtitle (it has like 8 or so).

PS: version is 23739 on the desktop

So far no responses, bummer. I would like to know if anybody else "got" Ghost.In.The.Shell.1995.720p.BluRay.x264-THORA and is having problems playing back this file. And I would like to know if somebody actually is able to playback the file so i know its just me having this problem.

Well found more people with the same problem here http://www.xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=60259 seems its not the specific movie but a problem with subtitles. So this post is in the wrong forum (its windows specific) and the description is wrong :-). I'll be following the mentioned thread for a solution. On my laptop with a fresh dx version install i have no problems what so ever, so I think i'm gonna do a refresh on my media pc as well.
