Im using svn 23842 on osx 10.6.1. Everything is working perfectly except for when digital audio is selected. Intermittently the audio and video play at about twice the speed. However if I press skip, rewind, pause or fast forward, the audio and video sync up perfectly and I cannot get them out of sync without stopping the video and then starting it again.
This only seems to happen with files that are decoded in 5.1.
Can provide log files with instructions.

Yep, this issue has been reported by more than one person including myself. As far as I know the cause hasn't been determined yet.

I'll be happy to provide logs, this is the first i'm seeing multiple people say they have the problem. I can't say what SVN it started in, but I think I had it pre-fork or merge they were doing in august. I could be wrong. I posted in that thread as well.
There's something very wrong with digital audio in svn. Looking into it.
Thanks for the update. Good to know its being looked into. It's a really annoying issue that thankfully can be worked around with a couple of button presses but it really confuses the mother in law

I installed the latest from the SVN maybe 3-4 days ago. How do I check the build number?
No, it's the video at 2x speed, doing a pause/unpause fixes it.
