Hi,
i have a samsung n510 atom/ion netbook but can't get it to work with xbmc corectly. As xbmc live hangs during boot i had to installed ubuntu 9.04 and xbmc from ppa. With video settings set to "auto" the playback of hd material is slugish, set to "vdpau" 720p and lower plays fine but 1080p crashes xbmc. (Screen resolution is 1366x768.) Can anyone confirm this or is it a confguration problem on my side?
In general, is a single atom/ion machine ok for hd playback or should i return it and get something faster?
