Same here - i checked my setting twice and they are OK.
I use XBMCbuntu eded 11.00
Grab the lastest version of the add-on (2.0.1) from the repo. I just checked it and it is working fine in pre-Frodo.
Works fine for me on Frodo & Xperience1080p.
Any update (design & features) planned ?

Great work with the gmail script! it is working perfectly for me.
I have recently created a nice little python script that will allow you to send emails from XBMC and you are welcome to integrate this in to your script if you like.
