I have the following issue with XBMC SVN: The last version that correctly plays DVDs for me is r24064 (DX) after that it fails.

After I enter a DVD into my DVD drive it will spin up the disc as normal. But XBMC will not auto play the disk. If I go to the video files I can see the drive (G. When I select it, XBMC asks me to insert a disc.

Since it works with r24064 I downgraded to that version and this is the debug log: http://pastebin.com/m213ead94

Both times it shows a DEBUG line for "CWinEventsWin32::WndProc: Drive G: Media has arrived." but only in r24064 will it get the CD Analysis Report and continue to process the disc.

I had the same problem and had to revert back to a previous build.

I have the exact same problem with XBMC 9.11 I downloaded a week ago using retail DVDs. I also have Windows 7 64bit.

Is there a way to get this working? The rest of XBMC is working great. I'm so happy to have this program runnig stable after fiddling with Mediaportal for months.

this fix is rather old and already in 9.11.
