Full Version: Audio DVD support?

I am running SVN 24548 on Karmic 2.6.31-14
I have an iso image of Audio DVD that is not working in XBMC.
Is Audio-DVD format supported?
ISO images that I have are protection free (no CPPM)
If needed I can do some testing or share my ISO images.
Quick look at the log shows that DVDPlayer is looking for /VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.IFO which obviously is not there

thx
Do you mean DVD-Audio?

DVD-Audio is a separate format, it won't output on SPDIF.

Most DVD-Audio discs should have a DD or DTS soundtrack which will play on XBMC.

I don't think XBMC supports DVD-Audio at all.

DVD-AUDIO you are correct - my mistake.
I do have few with DD tracks but I also have few DVD-Audio only.
I just read wikipedia article on dvd-audio and it sounds like 6 analog channels is the only option for unencrypted dvd-audio. Oh well I guess my hardware player is staying for good Smile
