I saw it somewhere in the menus and was wondering this.
Can xbmc go out on the net, get the video rss podcast, and then either share it using upnp and or play it directly?

If so is there an online guide to show how?
I assume their is no transcoding support yet. is anything planned for transcoding?

I have found several nice windows apps, like tversity, playon that will do upnp rss podcasts with transcoding but nothing really is out there for linux.

I solved it.
add a source and type it like this
rss://www.link.xml etc
