i've spend some time with my wii and it's usb-loader.
here is a video which shows some very interesting cover-flow-technics.
espacially this turning-covers are very nice.
i know that the xbmc-skin-engine has no 3D in it.
but maybe some of this effects are interesting for other skinners...

there know way in hell the current skinning engine could cope with that, it barely copes with the current hacked coverflow.
love to see a better skinning engine, but as a can't program c cant help lol.

Sorry, but I'd throw up if my XBMC interface looked/operated like that....way too cartoony.....the wii interface was made for animal planet kiddies...not a polished HTPC interface.
