I see the link on the front page but it appears when I click it there is no Beta 1 PPA available yet?

sudo apt-get ugrade does not pick up anything new either?
From the front page:

Quote:"As always, head to the download page for the latest stable and pre-release versions. Platforms are added as they become available, so if you don’t see your download yet please check back later."

Thanks -- I assumed since the link existed it was available but thanks for the response!
Link removed for now to avoid confusion.

Hmm

I also see it available here:https://edge.launchpad.net/~team-xbmc-svn/+archive/ppa

Does it take time to propagate out to apt-get update/upgrade? because i just tried running it, and no new packages are found, even though I see it on those links.
would i be able to get beta1 with aptlitude script? im running alpha 2 xbmclive
It's really confusing me. Should Beat1 ppa package release under stable repo? Like Aplha1&2? Why release on SVN repo?
queeup: have no clue either.. just reinstalled the htpc and it grabbed beta 1, so I had to check from where Smile
lol I'm tired of changing repos from console Smile
I'm still not seeing it via apt-get update.... do i need to add different ppa sources? my list currently is as follows:

Quote:deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
# deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc-svn/ppa/ubuntu/ jaunty main
# deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/xbmc-addons/ppa/ubuntu/ jaunty main
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc-svn/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc-svn/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
Did you update your repos?

$ sudo aptitude update
queeup Wrote:Did you update your repos?

$ sudo aptitude update

Yeah, tried that, as weell as redoing mmy xbmc.org.list file to make sure the entries were right, did apt-get update, aptitude update (running as root) and no updates yet...yet I can see it if I visit the links, so I know the package is up there. Guess I'll try again tomorrow, see if it maybe takes a while to propigate out or something...strange though because when I see them on wattazoums ppa link, i can usually grab them the second they've been build.
I'm currently running 9.10 with XBMC 9.11. I Don't know if this is normal. when I run sudo aptitude update i get the following output that doesn't even included XBMC sources. is that normal?

its a typical install from XBMCLive 9.11 Alpha2

Code:
xbmc@XBMCLive:~$ sudo aptitude update
