Hello,

I have a new problem with the tvdb scrapper. In fact, I have a lot of file named as this:
foo. 1x01x02x03x04x05.avi
here us an exemple for 5 episodes for season 01.

But now tvdb scrapper just create 2 episodes in the database, 1X01 and 1X02

If I have a file named 2x05x06x07x08.....avi, the scrapper create only Episode 05 and 06 for the second season.

I have this problem with all my tv shows..

You'll probably have to add a regular expression to advancedsettings.xml, specifiying your odd file naming scheme to the scraper.

No, because as specified in the xbmc wiki, my file naming is standard:

And this naming worked last month (certainly before beta 1...)

XBMC moves very, very fast. What's considered a bug today may be a feature tomorrow. There is no way the wiki can or will follow developers whims Smile

Let's all take a breath, and take a look at this issue again...

For selfish purposes I suggest that we do, as I have the exact same issue that is being described by Jeepcook.

You see, I follow the standard naming structure for TV Shows. I use TheTVDB as my scraper.

For example, Files that have failed look like:

STARTREK_s03e01e02e03e04.ISO
STARTREK_s03e05e06e07e08.ISO

In these two files, only the first two episodes are being scraped (e01e02 & e05e06). The latter two (or more) in the file name are ignored.

Like Jeepcook, this is true for all TV show files that I have attempted to scrape today.

This "feature" (as suggested by Sho) was not present inprevious versions of XBMC, but appears to have happened between my loading of 9.11 Beta1 (as I rescanned successfully all my files during a new fresh load), and the update 9.11-alpha2 R25559.

Now... This is the question: Did I make the error by my overwriting the 9.11 Beta1 release with the XBMC nightly from http://sshcs.com/xbmc/ ? What I mean is: did I put alpha fixes over Beta Code... Or is it a TVDB issue?

Update: Nope... That was not the problem...

I have deleted XBMC and loaded 9.11 beta2... and now ALL my TV shows have this same issue.

Anyone else beside Jeepcook and I seeing this issue?

Hello,

My problem is now solved, I finally renamed (automaticly) all my files like this:

Before: foo. 1x01x02x03x04x05.avi
Now: foo. 1x01.1x02.1x03.1x04.1x05.avi

But i'm sure there was a bug with the scraper and the old naming.

Have a bit of a head cold, so forgive me if I ask the stupid questions...

If it is resolved "for final release", do you mean that it's not in Beta2? At least, that is what I think you mean...

If you know, when is that "final release" going to be released?
Do you know what SVN release resolved this issue? I would be willing to do an update if I knew what would fix it. From what I can tell, 25561 doesn't fix it.

I don't want to keep banging away at this, and I don't want to kill time reloading and rescanning if I don't have to.
