Hey

XBMC is great but it doesnt seem to download all thumbnails for me.
For big movies like: Silence of the Lambs, i dont get thumbnails

For many other movies it works.. but only perhaps for 75% of all movies that should have fanart / thumbnails / moviecover...

Where to begin to search? I looked in the log but theirs much goin on there, hard to find anything concrete... please help

If it doesn't get a thumb, repeat while having debug logging on, and fetch the log.

Well, you didn't say which version you're running, so I'll just assume. The APIs used to access http://www.themoviedb.org has changed and the scraper that ships with Camelot Beta1 does not match. You need to download a newer version of the tmdb.xml files. This is covered in another thread, search away.
