Hi,

I'm a newbie to XBMC. After seeing a recent Lifehacker article I thought "wow, that's for me".

I bought a revo, swiftly got the live version of xbmc installed and quickly got my movies etc on there.

Then I thought "remote time!".

I bought a harmony one remote and a HP MCE IR receiver (the below)



I have read soooo many articles, the wiki and am still completely stuck. How the bugger do I get this to work!?!

Any advice really appriciated.

I've even tried uploading an advancedsettings.xml to enable remote codes but that isn't even working! The HP IR receiver is receiving my key presses.

I've got the same HP IR Receiver and a Harmony 720.

All I did in the logitech setup was add a new device

Media Center PC (Microsoftmce v2)

and the Remote it finds is Microsoft MCE-05
