I'm wondering, if it is possible to have keymap to change subtitles position on the screen, so you can move them up or down just with a key or remote.
Problem is, that different videos have different aspect ratios, and if you don't want subtitles in lower black bar (but in the actual video instead, like in cinema - also useful for LED backlit tvs which can turn off LEDs completeley for lower black bar part if there's nothing displayed) for videos with wide aspect ratio (2.35+) you have to go through whole calibration process to change subtitles position. But after that subtitles are too high for 1.33, 1.78, 1.85 aspect ratios and you have to change subs position again.
Having a keymap for subtitles position on screen seems like easiest solution to fight this. Also there could be a slider in Video OSD menu (so you can change it directly in menu like Subtitle/Audio offset instead going through whole calibration process)
What do you think?
