Full Version: Set 'View Mode' to 16:9 in .nfo?

I've got a bunch of 4:3 rips that I want to stretch to 16:9 when watching.

I know I can go into the video settings while watching the movie, and set the 'View Mode' to 16:9, but don't really want to do that every time (and my wife might not even be able to do it at all!).

Is there something that can be added to the .nfo to tell XBMC to stretch it?

Cheers,

Justin
No. You can just press Z (or whatever you wish to map that to on the remote).
If you want everything you watch to be in 16:9 format couldnt you just set it for one and then set as default for all?
Well most of my files are widescreen already. Will those on 'normal' be the same as the '16:9' option? If so then yes I could just set it as default for all files.

If not then Z is fine - I'll map it onto my Harmony so the missus can do it easily Smile
Nope a normal widescreen movie goes rather odd when I change from Normal to 16:9.

I'm perfectly happy to put a button in to cycle the mode though - it remembers the setting for the movie once done so all good Smile

Thanks!
