Hi xbmc enthusiasts
I reinstalled my HTPC yesterday with ubuntu karmic and the latest build from the svn repo.
It took me very long till I had the imon lcd and ir receiver running on jaunty. On karmic it looks like the IR gets recogniced from scratch and the mouse functionality is allready working with the R200 remote.
Now as a linux novice I am not sure how to go on. Is it possible that lirc was automaticly installed with karmic or why is the IR allready working?
I backupped a working lircmap.xml from my old installation and would like to use it again.
Do I have to install Lirc anyway or can I use the existing configuration to make my lircmap working again?
