I have a strange problem with subtitles in the avi files. I downloaded a „24h” and subtitles to it. In one episod subtitles are ok. In the other subtitles goes vary fast at the begining of a film (in 5-10 secends all subtitles were gone). So I made an experiment. I took the subtitles from first episode (change the file name) – but the problem still exists. This happens on macmini and PLEX. So I changed a computer and on iMac and XBMC there is an other problem. In first episod is ok but on the secend one there weren’t subtitles. So I think that the proble is connectet with the avi file not with subtitles. I chacked both avi file in preferences but I didn’t find any differences. Did you have similar problem.
