Good afternoon all,
Yesterday I updated my Ubuntu box to the latest version of XBMC (using aptitude safe-upgrade) and since the update I cannot run XBMC as I get the message:
"XBMC need hardware accelerated OpenGL rendering. Install an appropriate graphics driver"
Now, I have an Intel 82845G on-board graphics card, and fortunately Intel do provide a driver for it. Unfortunately, according to Intel, they only support OpenGL 1.3, and XBMC requires 1.4 at the very least!
However ... everything was working just dandy before I updated XBMC yesterday, so I guess my question is how do I roll back to the old version, or perhaps even better, do I have any other options?
