I just read through a bunch of forum posts about getting VDR to work using the PVR testing branch. Is it possible to playback recordings using a current XBMC interface - a source or plugin perhaps?

only reason I'm asking is that I see according to this wiki page: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMC_Feature..._playback:
XBMC has support for VDR playback, but I can find no information on how this is done. If anyone has any information I'd like to try and add this to the wiki.

Thanks for the reply, but this is still using the PVR testing branch. I'm wondering if it is possible to stream VDR recorded shows (or live TV) without using the PVR branch.
I'm hoping there is a method similar to the myth:// source or htsp:// for TVheadend.
