Hi,

Is there a way to send a Magic Packet inside XBMC in order to make a Wake on Lan on a file server?

XBMC Suggestion: The WOL function could actually be integrated into XBMC Menu functions, among the other existing ones. If there is a SMB share, just select that row and make properties - "Send WOL to share".

(I've just placed that as a suggestion in the proper thread.)

Excelent idea. with <source><path> there could also be <mac>
