I just started using xbmc, I wanted to have all art in folder but it appears xbmc does not download cover art to folder but else where whats the deal can someone explain?

You'll need to export into separate files. That will store all needed media and meta information along your media files.

Sorry, can you explain how I do that? I dont understand. Is it a matter of checking an option or...?

In the video settings there's an option to export the entire video database. Once clicked you will be asked if you want to export into separate files.
