I have no real programming knowledge but I feel I may have came across a (somewhat) simple way of at least getting Live TV and XBMC together.

I thought about creating some sort of browser to run the Sky Player within but I feel it would just be a waste of time as it would be a pain to navigate and only a small percentage of the screen real estate would be the player itself.

Whilst screwing about on the Sky website a came across this link;

Now, I know it's not much but I believe it is the start of something. I don't feel it would be hard to navigate (though, not too easy nether) nor do I feel the there is a waste of real estate value.

My question to you is this. Does anyone want to start an Open Source, community built Sky Player project?

People were saying it wasn't possible due to microsoft DRM but I've since linked an open source implimentation of it which I think might help developers with this. However who exists who has the skills to carry the torch? Will the moonlights open source implimentation which works in linux work for us in XBMC....

Thse things remain unanswered questions!
