Hi All

the albums of my collection are tagged with Albumartist, compilations not. The Singles only have the Title and Artist tag.

I disabled the "Include artists who appear only on compilations"-Feature, so only Artists with "real" albums should appear, right?

but in the artist library EVERY artist is shown. Artists on compilations, samplers and Singles. That doesn't look really tidy and confuses a bit.

so how can i get this to work??

Give us an example of the artist and album artist tag from a song on a compilation

i tag everything with "mp3tag"
for a compilation:
Artist: "some artist"
Album: "title of the compilation"
Albumartist: left blank

same for singles but without album-name

Try populating the album artist tag of an compilation with "Various Artists".

(edited for correct tag)

thats all? xbmc would recognize it then??
