Been trying to upgrade to the full 9.11 for the last 2 days and have tried all the tips on here but everywhich way I can't get past beta 1.

My synaptic package manager shows the latest version as beta 1, I've tried deleting the sources from ubuntu and reloading the package manager and then re-adding the sources - but it still says beta 1 is the latest!

Any ideas?
Any chance you could list the sources that you have for XBMC, quite possible that you could have the wrong PPA listed.

Also list your release version of ubuntu / jaunty, karmic etc...

Cheers
The source paths changed. Go through the install process again. You'll need to add the correct sources to your list.

I'm using:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/jaunty-ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/jaunty-ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

As the wiki states. What are the new source paths?
Oh and I'm running Jaunty.
Looks like the wiki needs updating...

per http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=33327 you should use the following
Code:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

EDIT: I'll fix the wiki...
hoooray - that worked a treat! Many thanks!
