Shocked

I have an MKV file that looks and sounds great up until 00:54, then it just stops. Resuming from last point stops it immediately, starting at beginning stops in the same place.

It plays all the way through fine in VLC.

Any ideas why?

I'm guessing because it's pretty close to exactly midway, the file is split in two within the MKV package/container/wrapper. But I can't show the package contents in the Finder so not sure about that.

XBMC 9.11 (release)
Intel MacBookPro, connected to SMB network share
same symptoms. Stops about mid way through, plays fine in VLC.

This time I tried to resume a couple of times -- both times XBMC appears to hang for about 1 min, then simply returns to menu system. Turned on debug logging before the second attempt to resume.

Here's the log on pastebin.

Hope this can be fixed. Two of my favorite movies in MKV format this happened to.
I think this is related to this trac bug, so added a comment to it:
