sorry for stupid question but I have my music on a SMB share and it is all set up but i cannot find where my fanart is saved ANYWHERE!
Can someone help please?!

Did you scan your music into your library? On the Add Source Page move the cursor over the SMB share you added and bring up the context menu ("c" key on keyboard). Then choose to Scan.
yeah its all set up man. just lookin for the files on my HDD and cant find em?
I believe fanart files are kept on the local machine running xbmc for performance reasons... I'd look around in the UserData folder
They are cached under thumbnails in the userdata folder.
Ta! So I can mod em easily just wanted to flip some round!
XBMC has a flip (mirror) fanart option in the fanart dialog.
