I went on a rampage run earlier today, totally wiped my database and thumbnails (had removed a lot of films and stuff so i figured it was necessary.

However now xbmc refuses to scrape posters and fanart (no its not the IMDB error that we had starting yesterday)

The problem i think is that in the userdata/thumbnails/video/ folder there were an additional amount of folders, witch i thought was gonna redo themselves so I deleted those, but it didn't and I can't remember what their name was..

Debug log of you scanning will tell you what is wrong.

However, if you have deleted your library already just delete the .xbmc folder and it will recreate everything.

Also, there was no need to do what you did. If you used the clean library function it would have removed all library items that linked to items that no longer existed.

oh bummer.. but thanks for your help, will try and delete .xbmc
