Hello,

once i started my computer (Ubuntu, 9.10) i was not able to start xbmc.

As usual i typed "xbmc" in the console and it says:
/usr/bin/xbmc: line 72: 4253 Segmentation fault (core dumped) /usr/share/xbmc/xbmc.bin "$@"
Crash report available at /home/user1/xbmc_crashlog-20100106_205119.log

The funny thing is that i tried it very often (15-20 times) in order to fix it by myself. But then it suddenly worked. :confused2: But next time i tried to launch xbmc it was the same problem. Can you help me?

The Crash Report: (it is very long, and i cant attach a file)

Thanks for your support!
Same problem here as well... XBMC was working flawlessly for months on 9.10 then not sure what changed but all of a sudden its exiting x264 movies with the same error. 80% of the time it exits as soon as you click on it which doesnt make sense cause 20% of the time the same movie will play.
