Hi!

Last night I tried to watch my VDR Recordings from XBMC and it crashed. Now I can't start it anymore! I can see the "XBMC" black screen on startup, but it crashes immediatelly.

I have tried to reinstall it with: "sudo apt-get purge xbmc" and then installing it again, but it seems that it doesn't completely remove it. Because I have the same problem still.

It looks as if your database is damaged. Try backing up your userdata folder ($home/.xbmc/userdata I think) then deleting it and see if XBMC will run.

Works! I deleted .xbmc folder and it worked!

Now I have reset all my settings and made a backup of ~/.xbmc/userdata folder!
