Hello!
First off all i love the XBMC Media Center.
But since i installed the current stable release Camelot I have had problem with playing mkv-files. The file play and then the video freezes and the audio plays just fine, and this is becoming extremely irritating. The files worked just fine in the Babylon release.
I've tried to reinstall XBMC, didn't work, thought that the program didn't like that I had some downloads running in the background or that I was running it on a second screen (my tv) or something like that, but nothing seems to work, apart from fast-forwarding past the point where the video freezes.
Can somebody help me with this problem.

My Computer:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275
Realtek High Definition Audio
AMD Phenom™ II X4 940 Processor
4GB RAM
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate
Can you put a debug log on pastebin.com. See http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=42708 for details. Hopefully the debug log will include a useful error message at the point the video freezes.

I tried to post my debug log on pastebin.com, but all I get is an error-message.
The http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=42708, didn't really explain how to post the debug log on the site.

I'm a complete novice in this area.

As it happens I've just posted a log using pastebin.com, and this is how I did it.

Start by opening http://pastebin.com/ and you get a form with various fields including a large edit box. Now open My Computer and double click your way to C:\Program Files\XBMC and double click xbmc.log. This should open in Notepad. Press control-A to select everything then control-C to copy it. Now click in the large edit control in the pastebin page and press control-V to paste your log file into Pastebin. Type some reasonably unique name into the "Your name" field and click Send.

The only error I've ever had was when the log file was too big. I think the limit is around 2MB, which should be way larger than the average XBMC log.

After the log has uploaded, and this can take a while, you see a page wth your log. The URL will be something like http://pastebin.com/m38616d38. Copy this URL and post it here.

If you lose the URL no problem, just search for the username you typed in when Sending the log and you should be able to find your log again.

I think that is the problem I have with posting my log. How to I work around it?

How big is the file? If it's not too big I could probably find an FTP server for you to upload it.
