Hey guys - can someone help me out with getting the new latest official nightly's via launcher?
I have it set up to get the questor builds currently...
Many thanks
Did you configure Launcher to download SSHCS builds with the following command?:
Code:
defaults write com.teamxbmc.xbmclauncher XBMCAdditionalDownloadPlistURLs -array http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/Info.asp
If yes, then you are set to go. The Launcher (make sure its version 3.2.1) should have the option to download an XBMC version that will reference a build number. When a new build is made available on sshcs.com, it will show up in the Launcher.
Yeah- I got that going on, but they are The Questor's builds unless I am mistaken. The new build-bot builds should have a different play list i think.
I'd like the build-bot builds on the launcher update screen too...
I updated by hand yesterday in the end - only to realise the build bot versions don't have CrystalHD support - doh!
p.s. many thanks to davilla and The Questor (and XBMC team!) for all their continuing efforts and support. CHEERS GUYS
As far as I know Questor's have CrystalHD other don't
So if you want CrystalHD you have to stay as you are and update from Launcher
fair enough - would still be nice for everyone to know how to use the new nightlies from their atv's tho...
If I was a microsoft advert I could tell you that was 'cause of me.
Thankfully that isn't the case.
I have configured launcher and added the SSHCS URL. I was also able to download and install the most recent nightly build successfully.
do you still need to install the drivers as per the instructions on blogythefox.co.uk? I was under the impression that these were included in these nightly builds?
anyway, under render method, the broadcom card does not show up. I read somewhere that that means that the BCM-card is either not installed or broken. I have 2 BCM cards with which this has happened.

driver/lib/firmware are not included in nightly builds, they are not part of XBMC per say. Nightly builds will detect if present and then enable crystalhd as a render setting.

thanks!
I cyberducked the files into the aTV and putty'd as per instructions (had to do it in a windows VM, in OSX terminal this didn't work out) only to realize that my aTV had updated to 3.0.1
I haven't been able to get the patchstick to work on this version, is it just me or should I disable updating altogether?
oh well, factory restore once again it is....
in the last build (r27003) it looks like the md5 sums dont match.
