Hi I have recently built a HTPC and have been running xbmc on it for a while now. A few days ago I started having problems with the video being out of sync with the audio. The video is about 1 second behind the audio.
This happens with all video and codec types.
When I play videos outside of XBMC they play fine.

Specs:
Intel Atom 330 1.6ghz
Asus AT3n7a-I mobo
2gb ram
windows 7

XBMC 9.11 R26017 (COMPILED: DEC 23 2009)
Build:
MEDIASTREAM V1.00 (SUN 26/04/2009), SVN - R2121

Under system-->video-->playback try enabling a/v sync. That fixed the issue for me.

(These instructions are from memory since I'm not home right now)

Ah god just figured it out.
There was an Audio offset set in the audio settings while watching a video. I never went into those setting before.
