Full Version: Darkie, devs, may i host the python makedocs?

they're generated as html, they're available in the cvs, but i've never seen them online, and getting them out of the cvs is way too much hassle for people who only want to write scripts....

i'm curious why you're not already hosting them. i can't see any privacy/legal issue here, but i might be missing something.

so...would you guys be interested in hosting up-to-date python references on your website? if not, would you mind if i hosted them from my site, just so people can have access?

obviously i'm posting this in response to gasgeber's request, but i've seen several other requests like his over the last several months, and i remember what a nuisance it was for me to get access to them in the first place.

let me know what you think. if there is some privacy/legal issue here, please delete this post right away and accept my sincere apologies.

we could add them to our online wikki manual.
but i don't see any problem why you can't post it on your website, so go ahead Smile
thanks, darkie!

makedocs are up on my website. i've got a new documentation page here, or you can view the makedocs directly from the left panel on the homepage.
