I'm using xbmc on Ubuntu 9.10 and have added source from samba share, and the moviefolders are named like "Crank.2006.PAL.NORDIC.DVDR-BIZARRE" and all movies are in rar archive. And when I want to make a library of them I set contents and tried everything but library is still empty.

Is it because it's over SMB or the folder's name? And is there a way to fix it?

Enable debug logging and scan for new content again. Post the debug log using pastebin.com (or similar) here. My bet is: compressed archives.
