Full Version: Weird ATV directory issue on external usb drive?

I've had an external hard drive plugged into my ATV ever since I first bought it and have never had an issue.

If I SSH into the ATV and do a "diskutil list" I can see my one external drive and one partition.

I recently installed a crystal hd card and downloaded my first 1080p movie (bladerunner) that was about 9GB in size. I used filezilla to transfer it to my ATV like I always do.

Now the weird part.....

When I look at the directory contents of /mnt/scratch/volumes I now see:

"External USB"
"External USB 1"
"OSBoot"

The "External USB 1" folder has all my mp3 / videos / pictures in it that were there before I copied over the 10GB volume and the "External USB" folder contains just the bladerunner file?

This totally messed up my sources in XBMC since I originally had my sources pointed the "External USB" folder.

Here is what I get in diskutil:

/dev/disk0
#: type name size identifier
0: GUID_partition_scheme *37.3 GB disk0
1: EFI 34.0 MB disk0s1
2: Apple_Recovery 400.0 MB disk0s2
3: Apple_HFS OSBoot 900.0 MB disk0s3
4: Apple_HFS Media 36.0 GB disk0s4
/dev/disk1
#: type name size identifier
0: GUID_partition_scheme *596.2 GB disk1
1: EFI 34.0 MB disk1s1
2: Apple_HFS ExternalUSB 596.1 GB disk1s2

Is this caused by the large bladerunner movie?

Is every extra large file I copy over going to cause me to get an additional folder for some reason?
