I posted this in a response to http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...deo&page=9, but since it's been a whole day with no responses (yes, I am that impatient Smile) I'm posting it as a new thread here!

When I use XBMC, sound works fine, but no video shows up.

I'm running the standard version of XBMC 9.11 (just downloaded) on an ASUS mobo with a HD3200 GPU and X2 240e CPU.

Has there been any updates on how to fix this?

I've seen everything from changing Direct X to using some unspecified OpenGL version of XBMC, but I've yet to see where to get it?

Any tips appreciated!

As a side note, XBMC runs at less than 15fps in fullscreen (1080p) in the menus? Anything I can do to speed it up some?

There's plenty of CPU power available for it to use, if possible...

Cheers in advance!

System info:
XBMC version: 9.11 R26017 (Compiled: Dec 23, 2009)
OS: Windows 7 Professional
Ram: 2gb DDR2 @ 533mhz
CPU: Athlon II X2 240e
GPU: HD3200 (AMD 780G chipset)
Video driver: Windows 7 default driver & ATI 9.12. (Same problem with both)

A debug log (about 800kb):

Have you tried changing the Settings->Videos->Playback options?

Try also changing from windowed to fullscreen (alt-enter)
In Settings -> Video -> Playback I only have the following options:
Resume from where last stopped - Ask
Adjust display refresh rate to match video - No
Sync playback to display - No
A/V sync method (grey until sync is chosen)
Allowed error in aspect ration to minimize black bars - None
Active Teletext - No

I've tried a couple of combinations of Adjust... and Sync... but with no luck.

Running it windowed vs. fullscreen unfortunately changes nothing. Sad
