I have edited the remote.xml to change some functions of my black mce remote. This included setting the power button to suspend instead of shutdown.

I am unable to resume using the remote. How can I do this? Also where is the radio button in remote.xml?

When setting up the wpa network, if i choose dhcp i get internet access and no network; if i choose static i get network access and no internet.

when using static the gateway address in system info is empty although i have specified it in /etc/network/interfaces. it is also showing dns servers which are set to be pulled from the gateway.

Im stumped on all accounts

what does your interface file look like?

Sorry guys, My network is sorted now. A mistake on my part.(netmask set to gateway)


I have done all the settings from Remote Suspend / Wake part of the wiki article but now I get instant Suspend/Wake

Any other suggestions?
