For some reason I cannot upgrade past SVN:27017. Unfortunatley, this SVN won't playback DD/AC3 audio in videos.
Any ideas on how to get another SVN?
Thanks in advance!
did you:
sudo apt-get update
then:
sudo apt-get upgrade
or
sudo apt-get install xbmc
Hi nugentgl,
Yes, I did:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc
Thanks though!
the SVN ppa has now been updated try again.

i too am trying but no luck - do we need to edit a config list somewhere that will point the install to the proper svn ppa servers?
I manually downloaded an SVN that seems to be working for my setup. I guess I'll hold off for a couple weeks till some of the problems in the newer svns get resolved.
Thanks!
try:
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -y

But won't that upgrade ubuntu/system?
I don't have the time right now to go thru and fix the usual problems that arise after doing a full distro upgrade (i.e. Samba issues, alsa/pulse issues, etc etc...) ;-)

Worked for me.
