Sorry, as author of atv-bootloader which ATV Flash uses, I dislike supporting any patchstick derivation that does not return anything to the community. Your best option is to ask on the ATV Flash forums, after all you did pay them money for ATV Flash and that included support.

Actually I have not purchased it yet.
As a total NooB to atv I thought that might be the easiest way to get this up and running, I may have been wrong.
I will reread all of the good stuff you have here and try it.
Thanks
Guys, how the installer sets crystalhd kext to load at boot?
Long time ago I did manual installation which used /etc/rc.local, but two weeks later I reinstalled everything and went with Launcher and this script and now I see that rc.local is not used..
Not that the install isn't working, I just want to know where and how kext is loaded
Thanks

Hello , I´m a noob user, and installed step by step ( I think so) the Crystal HD driver, I´ve got an apple Tv under 3.0.2 version, ATv flash 4.1.3.2 version, Xbmc launcher 3.2.5, svn r31294.
The problem is that i can´t play 720p or 1080p movies, mkv neither mp4.
When I go to XBMC/ system settings /video /playback I see in render method Auto detect and other options but not crystal HD, I´ve got an option marked "allow hardware acceleration crystal hd", but when I play a 720p video is very slow and not smooth.
I bought the 970012 card in ebay seller, and I must be sure that my card is not defective.
I´ve got an imac with snow leopard and thi is the log i see by ssh:
http://pastebin.com/saVNZPA5
Thank you for your help!
Been running crystal HD for a while. Everything was cool. Updated to newest SVN of XBMC, and now the video renderer says auto detect and there is a radio button for enable crystal hd. On my sample video, playback is not as good as it was at r28256.
Do I need to rerun the launcher script for Crystal HD r26? If so, do I need to remove currently installed drivers? Are there any other settings I need to adjust?
Crystalhd setting moved out of video renderer setting into it's own radio button. Nothing has changed (yet) in CrystalHD driver/lib so there's no gain in reload it.

Thanks man. Maybe some non crystal hd stuff has changed in the latest SVNs and that is what is affecting playback? Who knows.
I am really being nitpicky, as your drivers saved my apple tv from becoming a really sweet paperweight.
Thanks for all of your efforts.
