I took a look at the wiki to try to figure out what I have done wrong. I initially setup XBMC to see all my movies on a network computer and stream from there. Now I have transplanted everything to the computer XBMC is on. However now I don't have the "add source" in the context menu. I am pretty sure I am in the root menu as it has "Movies", "Recently Added Movies", "Playlists" and "Video Plugins".

The context menu does not have an option to add source. I do have that option in pictures and music sections though.

You'll have to leave the library mode and add the actual media sources in file view.

you must be in file mode to add source, you are in library mode !
