Weird. I could reproduce it here.
Any idea why my problem is happening malte?

I have installed your latest version and I still have the same problem, no artwork.
I have replaced all the paths from smb// to \\Home-Server\etc as you stated and nothing shows up.
I have just copied my n64 folder to c:, rescanned and everything shows up fine, so it is something to do with the network.

Heres my config.xml for the network setup http://pastebin.com/SFv48fzv
Do you have a log file of the import? Config.xml looks ok. In the next weeks I will build up a NAS here, so I could test this situation myself. But it will take some time until it is done.

cyberman Wrote:Sadly it doesn't work here. I added some SNES ROMs, added zsnes (/usr/bin/zsnes) with parameters -m "%ROM" .

When I try to launch a game for about half a second I see a text "launching rom.." and nothing happens. What could I do about it?
If your params are really -m "%ROM", the error is that it must be -m "%ROM%" (additional % at the end).

If you just made a mistake with posting the params here, please show me a log file after you tried to launch a game.

malte,
Heres my log file http://pastebin.com/V1NgdSys

Also when i run the network version the files listed below show these errors:

scrapeResult_missingArtwork.txt http://pastebin.com/44fRGWKh

scrapeResult_possibleMismatches.txt http://pastebin.com/BrN9jnVM

Don't forget that when I run the same files from c:, I get no errors or mismatches at all.
cyberman Wrote:Now what's only left is a little sound problem.. Maybe you also know a solution here?
Sorry, no. But you could check the linux sub forums here. I think I have read about similar problems there.

I will need a log directly after a game import. So that I can see what happens during import.
Here you go mate, I removed all old artwork and .nfo files and imported from scratch.

Strange. Looks like artwork is imported fine. Just not showing up. I am afraid I have to reproduce it myself. But this has to wait until I have fully set up my HTPC/NAS combo in the next weeks. Will check if I find another way to reproduce it here but I can't promise.
Hey Malte,

I've been playing a bit with the new filter in Confluence. I have to say, it is awesome. Great and easy way to complete collections. Thanks a lot.

However, for me there seems a problem. The filter works perfectly when using with art, but the info part does'nt seem to work. I have set up RCB so a nfo file is created for all roms, even if no info was scraped. Now, when I use the filter and try to show all games without descriptions there are no games returned.

So my question, how does the nfo filter work exactly? Might it be it won't work perfectly when your collection has been imported locally with nfo files?

Apart from this, perfect work. A very good addition to RCB. I can't wait for it all to get fully integrated in MQ3 ;-)

Malte, an additional question. I have seen that you can add logo's of developer and publisher to the roms, but is it also possible to add the game logo's? I mean, graphical versions of the game names ...

Thanks a lot for all this great addition and please keep us updated!

Cheers,
Grave
Hey,

I´m having trouble with the sound when starting my emulator thru Rom Collection Browser.

If I start the emulator when I´m not running XBMC it works OK.

I have removed pulseaudio and is currently running with alsa.
Anyone have any idea what to do?

Try running in stand-alone mode so that xbmc shuts when the emulator starts.

I can't reproduce it here. Everything is shown like it should.

It does not matter how the info has been imported. The filter is only using the info from the DB. Can you tell me what exactly you entered in the filter control?

I click the game but nothing happens, when I don´t use solo mode the game load and end up in fullscreen.
I checked the debug log but I don´t see anything direct.
Hey Malte,

I gave it another try. It doesn't seem to work for me? What I did was added the field 'description' in my filter and used 'show all items without ...'. I added the description field in both the options (one of these, all of these), none seem to work for me. All 781 one games in the collection show up.

Could it be if the nfo files have nothing in the description field (plot contains nothing, <plot />), but they have a 'plot' tag in the file, so an empty plot is perhaps added? Something the filter sees as a description in the db, even though there is nothing?
