Update 2011-08-29: Video of Xperience1080 0.9b
NOTE: SVN is outdated. New version for pre-Eden nightlies will be out on September 1st. (or few days later )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Because the old thread is gone because of the data loss, here it is again. And because it will last some time until I can finish the mod, you can try the current version. There are many unfinished things and I'm aware of almost all bugs... best XBMC build to use is #27527, the download is in the Beta Bravo release thread. For OSX you can use #27517.
The project is hosted on googlecode and you can do a svn checkout of the skin with:
Download (thanks to ppic): http://passion-xbmc.org/downloads/?sa=downfile;id=93
I'll try to finish it as soon as I can but I have more important work to do at the moment so it will not finished within the next 2 months.
Old Thread:
Hi,
some may noticed that I'm working on a 1080p version of Xperience (posted some screens in the xperience mod help thread). I'll post a download link later on in this thread if everything is done. I think it will last a month or two or maybe longer to get it done because I have not that much time soon.
But I'd like to show some screens and a video of what I've done so far in the past 2 months. There are still bugs and unfinished things, you'll maybe notice some of them in the video... many dialogs are missing but the views are nearly done besides the pic panel and some details / animations. You'll also notice some things of the Surface skin from phyek... XBMCG33K asked me already if I could provide a version without that stuff. Since it would cost much time to change it completly, I'll maybe add different graphics for those elements and put them in an optional xpr... so same function but different look (background, focus images etc.).
To the performance:
The mod will not run well on slow systems with onboard graphics... I have a Pentium E6300 with Geforce 9300 (GT240 or better would be optimal, maybe GT220 is already enough) and it's not running optimal, especially with fanart turned on. On my workstation it's running smooth with a 9600GT.
So here are the video and the images, hope you like it.
